It’s a Photo Safari !

Late summer we decided to drive with the traveling darkroom on a photo safari. The goal was to shoot great photographs on film, metal and glass using large format camera and the alternative photo processes.

After several thousand miles we reviewed quite a collection of portraits and landscapes from the road. A very different trip from those using a digital camera and the automated results. Set up for each shot took time. Each image was intentional and planned. But we think the results were spectacular. Below are some behind the scenes along the way as well as some of the finished results. Enjoy and share your thoughts.

Check out more of the finished images here.
